Tewksbury Historical Society Collects Donations for Labor Day Weekend Tag Sale | Hunterdon Magazine News

TEWKSBURY TWP. – The Tewksbury Historical Society is collecting donations – by appointment only – for its Labor Day Weekend Tag Sale to be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 3 at the Oldwick Carriage House, 5 James St., in the Oldwick section of the township.

The company will sell quality items cleaned, in working condition. Antiques, furniture, artwork, chinaware, housewares, bric-a-brac, garden items, costume jewelry and linens will be among the goods available. Electronic items over three years old, children’s books, clothing and toys will not be sold.

Donations will be accepted on a limited basis by appointment only on the two Saturdays in August at the Carriage House. Call (908) 832-6734 to reserve a donation timeslot, details on acceptable items and donation procedures. Leave a name and number; the phone call will be returned.

All donations will be thoroughly inspected and items not accepted should be retained by the donor. Items should be clean and easily visible for inspection, without excessive packaging.

The Tewksbury Historical Society is a New Jersey nonprofit society organized for the purpose of advancing the research, preservation, and dissemination of the history of Tewksbury Township. The society asks for donations of documents, records and small artifacts related to the history of Tewksbury for its archives.
