Mechanicsburg’s Operation Wildcat is hosting an annual indoor garage sale this weekend

The Operation Wildcat Project Yard Sale event was held on Friday, April 22, 2022 at the Mechanicsburg Brethern in Christ Church. The one-day event offered a variety of household items for sale. All proceeds benefit the non-profit organization which helps students, families and school district staff in need.

Operation Wildcat will hold its annual indoor community yard sale this weekend at Mechanicsburg Brethren Christ Church at 1050 S. York St. in Upper Allen Township.

The garage sale takes place from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 7:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday.

Thousands of items will be on sale, including art, books, collectibles, games, toys, household items, jewelry, tools, and home entertainment such as CDs and DVD. All the money raised will benefit the association.

At noon on Friday, customers can fill a bag of books for just $2, and items will be 50% off starting at 5 p.m. on Friday. Plus, all-day Saturday shoppers can fill a bag for just $1.

Students in the Life Skills class at Mechanicsburg-area high school will be selling baked goods and odds on raffle baskets. All of those dollars will go straight to their class to use as they see fit.

Operation Wildcat is a nonprofit organization founded in 2006 that aims to pool community resources to help students, families, and school district staff in need.
