Google launches new shopping tools that connect shoppers to stores selling their favorite products / Digital Information World
Online shopping has been all the rage for a while now and Google is really try hard to motivate more users to join its Shopping Graph. This is the name given to a new and improved AI model that was launched this year. The focus is on product reviews, shopping trends, and top brands selling the best products.
One of the first features includes an attractive feed that showcases products of all kinds. When using the designated search tool, users can add keywords such as “shop” next to the product they are looking for. Similarly, you will see the platform expand this online shopping adventure to different products ranging from electronics to beauty to fashion and more. Therefore, you are not limited in any way.
Then there is a unique tool called ‘shop to look’ which is designed to place complementary accessories to all forms of clothing that people would like to wear. The search engine likes to describe it as a tool where you not only get what you are looking for, but also free advice on things related to it. For example, you might be looking for a tank top, but you might be recommended some fabulous summer jewelry with it. All of this can be seen in the search.
Likewise, your search results will display a few trending products and services from some of the biggest brands in the United States. Now you can let people know about the latest styles and trends in the fashion scene.
The new feature will launch in the fall of this year, but if you want to “shop the look”, well, it’s already up for grabs for those in the US.
Google has also decided to give its shoppers the option of 3D shopping where products can be seen in different aspects, but for now this is limited to shoes. We also saw the firm launch a product still in testing and allowing sellers to produce 3D visuals of several still images.
Buyers would have access to a new buying guide when embarking on more complex shopping adventures via the search bar on Google. This involves multiple forms of information on things like lens size and material used through various sources. This feature was first shown across America and soon Google hopes to share more details as well.
Google is going to offer its buyers additional buying incentives by providing reliable reviews on the pros and cons of various products. These will be accompanied by notes via page previews. So, this feature could be found across America within the next two months.
Google also mentioned how it’s going to allow its shoppers to set up shopping choices from different brands, which would help in terms of suggestions for a more personalized shopping effort.
Users will be allowed to change their preferences in any way they wish to make this happen. We will see the launch very soon this year. And in case that wasn’t enough for Google shopping fever, prepare to see shopping filters added to users’ search results.
Search trends will now be updated in real time. For now, the feature is limited to a few countries, but soon more will be up for grabs as well. So if you are in India, USA or Japan, you can enjoy it first over all others.
Last but not least, Google will give us the option to use the Discovery feature in the Google app. This provides the best input into the trends and types of purchases people are making and what they are looking for.
